Combining my expertise in ceramics with my love of texture and textile, I have created a line of one of a kind mixed-media wall & 3-D art. I find the combination of my hand made felt and the porcelain clay very familiar and comforting. The porcelain is hand crafted on the wheel and extruded, glazed with a clear celadon and gas fired to cone 9. The felt is hand made from Merino and Shetland wool with occasional accents of silk. I get all of my wool from small independent farms, and use a dry needle felting technique which allows me great creativity and detail.
